Right then, so I'm talking to Matt the other day while he stops by on a weekend home from Chicago. I don't remember how or when the conversation got to summer, but it came to me that summer is half over. My boat has not even been uncovered. My jeep still has mud from April. What is going on and where did it go???

This is one we see all the time. Death wobble. I get 4-5 phone calls and emails a day regarding this phenomena. I'm not going to play engineer and try to tell you I understand every possible angle and geometry issue that can cause this, but I'll cover the basics....
I often get questions about high pinion axles and low pinion axles and what the advantages are and what exactly is meant by the terms. I though I would start off the axle tech forum with a brief and simple explanation of both and what the terms mean and how they are important.
Ahh, the junk I drag home, for some reason I felt the need to buy yet another YJ, my original intentions where to buy it, take the top off and put it on Tommy's Jeep, and sell it.
